Organized Garage is for the entrepreneur who wants to minimize the risk of starting from scratch with no support. It is for the individual who values community and support and is willing to figure things out on their own in a cost-effective manner. Organized Garage is not for someone who is looking for significant hand-holding or wants to have everything dictated to them.

Starting your business with Organized Garage requires an initial investment to participate in the program, as well as an additional investment to launch your business.
For Organized Garage, the initial commitment is three years with a total cost of $33,000. An initial payment of $25,000 is due to begin the onboarding process and access the Affiliate Network; a further $4,000 is due at the beginning of years two and three. To maintain continued access to the Affiliate Network and its benefits after year three, the annual fee is $4,000.
The cost of starting your business includes operating costs (accounting software, email/website fees, project management tools, etc.) and marketing costs. Marketing costs are the biggest variable, but they have a direct impact on how quickly your business grows. Spending $2,000 to $4,000 per month on marketing is recommended.
Plan on having $35,000 available when you begin working with Organized Garage. This is enough to cover the onboarding fee and an initial marketing investment until your business begins to close sales.

While we disagree with the premise that starting a garage remodeling business should cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, there are benefits to working with a traditional franchisor. Working with a traditional franchisor comes with significant support, established marketing materials, and clear standard operating procedures. For the right person, this support is worth the cost! We are happy to connect you with a franchisor if interested. However, if these costs and restrictions seem unnecessary, Organized Garage is for you.
